- "We had planned to go to another bar (by recommendation). It was closed so we came to cafeteria Pontenova AND WE ARE SO GLAD WE DID!!! The food was wonderful; our order was a simple dish that has, at other places been underwhelming. But not here; at Cafeteria Pontenova , it was perfect. Toast with ham, cheese and tomato was a knock-out! Serrano ham freshly sliced; fresh, ripe Spanish tomato (thickly sliced.... I'm in heaven!) and thick wedges of REAL Spanish cheese. And the 'small' portion could feed two people. There is a generosity of spirit (and in your portion size) in this bar/restaurant. The service is professional, friendly and efficient. The coffee is very good too. Other food ordered at our table were excellent as well. Very good value for such high quality. Don't listen if you are advised to go to different bars. THIS is the place!"
