  • "Cute hotel in the mountain style. Based on prior reviews/photos it may be under new management. The small team who acted as concierge, servers, cleaners, bartenders, chef could not have been nicer and more accommodating. They cheerfully helped us with many things and spoke pretty good English - ice for a sore knee, beer when the bar was officially closed, and other advice. The restaurant had plenty of room for us despite the fact that the other options in town were booked with tour groups. Menu had a reasonable variety. Like many places we visited in the mountains, not many vegetables. Breakfast was simple. Scrambled eggs and toast or toast and jam. The town is very small, no real grocery. The bakery was open 9-2, but by the afternoon, no bread left. Bar in the center was always open and busy!"
